The research problem addressed in this study pertains to the phenomenon of burnout and its selected personality determinants, such as mental resilience and self-efficacy beliefs. The aim of the research was to test the interrelationships between these variables, particularly the predictive impact of resilience and self-efficacy beliefs on burnout within a group of corporate employees (N=50). The study was conducted using three psychological questionnaires. The LBQ questionnaire was used to measure burnout, mental resilience was assessed with the Life Orientation Questionnaire SPP-25, and self-efficacy beliefs were measured using the Hope for Success Questionnaire KNS. The results confirmed a positive relationship between psychological resilience and self-efficacy beliefs, and indicated that low levels of psychological resilience and self-efficacy correlate with high levels of burnout. Furthermore, mental resilience and self-efficacy beliefs serve as significant predictors of burnout among the examined sample of corporate employees.
